The shelf door offers you the possibility of closing the shelf module in a simple way. Behind it, you can store anything that needs to be protected from dust or that should not be the focus of everyday life. 

Like any other shelf insert, this one can be inserted into the shelf without any additional tools and is compatible with any of our shelf versions. You can remove or relocate the shelf door at any time - flexibly, just as you need it. 

The shelf door is die-cut from particularly high-quality heavy-duty cardboard, which consists of 54 to 80 % recycled fibres. This makes the lightweight shelf insert not only stable and durable, but also ecologically sustainable. The adhesives used to join the individual paper layers are made from vegan corn starch, and the paints for the black, white and sage versions are solvent-free and water-based. At the end of its life cycle, you can quickly and easily dispose of the shelf door in the waste paper bin and return it to the recycling system.

How do I install the shelf door?
The door can be inserted into your shelf module with a few simple steps and without any tools.
The instructions are included with your shelf. You can also download them here. 

Does the door fit every shelf?
In general, all shelf inserts can be placed completely flexibly in the shelf. 

Can I have the door open to the left and right?
You can install the door in the way that suits you best and move it again and again if necessary. 

Can I also move the door again within the shelving unit?
The door can be easily removed from the shelf module. So you can change its position flexibly at any time. 

Do standardised files also fit in the shelf module when the door is used?
Yes, you can hide standardised files behind our shelf door. 

Can I insert the door together with the shelf board in one module?
No, unfortunately both shelf inserts do not fit together in the shelf module. 

Can I paint or write on the shelf door?
If you wish, you can design the shelf door according to your own taste. There are no limits to your creativity. For example, you can paint it with acrylic paint, stick it on or write on it.
